Shirley Ruth Ferguson

SHIRLEY RUTH FERGUSON (age 79)
was called to her heavenly home on Monday, September 21, 2020. She was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Ruth Walker; two loves of her life, William Parris and Robert Ferguson; and two brothers, Leonard Smith and William Bradley. Shirley is survived by her loving mother, Pecola Bradley (late Lindberg Bradley); three devoted daughters, Jawana Jackson (Jesse), Charlesette Jackson (Gilmore) and Lashawn Ferguson; two sisters, Glenda Duckett-Johnson and Emma Spriggs-Jefferson; two brothers, Lindberg Bradley and Tracy Bradley; seven, beloved grandchildren, Donnell, Ashley, Donna, Jesse II (Fernanda), Charmeka (Thomas), Ujzdaski, Michael (Victoria); six great-grandchildren, Kalea, La’lia, Robert Jr., Kaidence, Emery, Myjae; one aunt, Elizabeth Bufford; one uncle, Robert Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends.

Walk-thru Visitation will be held from 10am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am, on Wednesday, October 14 at Church of the Incarnation, 880 Eastern Ave., NE, Washington, DC 20019. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.

(NOTE: DUE TO COVID-19, MASKS/FACIAL COVERINGS AND 6 FT SOCIAL DISTANCING ARE REQUIRED. WALK-THRU VISITATION. ONLY 50 FAMILY MEMBERS WILL BE ALLOWED DURING THE FUNERAL SERVICE.)
