Janice Marie Hawkins transitioned into Eternal Rest on Friday, February 25, 2022.  She is survived by her devoted and loving sister, Agnes Hawkins, three brothers, James, John and William Hawkins, godsons, Benjamin Gates and Kristopher Joiner and a host of other relatives and friends.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m., until Ms. Hawkins' Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, March 11, 2022, at Ward Memorial A.M.E. Church, 241 42nd Street, North East, Washington, DC 20019.  Interment Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
