Willie was born on June 26, 1939 and departed this life on Sunday, April 12, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Esther J. ("Patsy"), daughters, Shelby L. Brooks and Benita A. Robinson; sons, Gregory M. Robinson, Vincent L. Robinson, Willie R. Robinson and Ricky Perry; grandchildren, Lance M. Brooks, Jr., Marcus T. Brooks, Kevonia R. Robinson, Gregory D. Robinson, Corey M. Robinson, Geralynn N. Robinson, Alexis D. Robinson, Vincent L. Robinson, Jr. and Vincee' K. Robinson; great-grandchildren, Jaylen A. Brooks and Briella C. Brooks; sister, Helen Robinson; brother, Samuel Robinson; sister-in-law, Sandra B. Hart; brother-in-law, Kendrick Summers; and a host of other relatives and friends.
