Wanda L. Brown was born on May 12, 1956, in Bethesda Naval Hospital, Maryland to the late Billy Lee and Joyce Lee. She was a mother, devoted daughter, loving sister, cherished aunt, and loyal friend—truly a pillar to all who knew her. Wanda gained her heavenly wings on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in Silver Spring, Maryland.

She graduated from Norwich Free Academy in Connecticut, where she began building the foundation for a life marked by dedication and compassion.

In her adult years, Wanda was employed at Kaiser Permanente, where she took great pride in helping others and making a di/erence in the lives of those she served. She was known for her warm spirit and genuine care for people.

Wanda had a vibrant personality and a deep love for life. She was an avid Washington Redskins fan and found joy in watching movies, listening to music, traveling, cooking, gardening, going to the beach and reading. She lived a blessed life, making each day meaningful and memorable.

Wanda touched countless lives with her kindness, laughter, charisma, unwavering love, and courage. Her presence brought light and comfort to those around her, and her memory will forever be treasured.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory: her devoted husband, Robert “Bobby” Brown; two daughters, Aprille Williams and Alexandra Souder and husband Christian Sr; four brothers, Billy, Stephen, Eric, and Peter; 8ve grandchildren, Payton, Christian Jr, Jackson, Mason and Harrison; one son in law, and a host of sister in laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Wanda’s legacy of love, strength, and compassion will continue to live on in all who knew and loved her.
