VILMA VERA PRATHER (Age 84) Passed away on Friday, June 30, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Eugene Prather, and daughter, Tina Prather. Devoted mother of Cornelia Jackson (Joseph), Ninda and Jerry Bowman, Sr., Yuvetta, Kevin (Darlene) and Teresa Prather; sister of Carolyn Bowser. Also survived by grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great great-grandchildren; great great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation 11:30 a.m. until time of service 12:30 p.m., on Friday, July 14 at Henry S. Washington & Sons Funeral Home, 4925 Nannie Helen Burroughs Ave., NE, Washington, DC 20019. Interment Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.
