Sterling Leo Queen, Sr., age 86, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2017. He was preceded in death by one sister, Anna Holmes. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Bettye; one daughter, Robbin; three sons, Sterling Jr.(Cynthia), Stanley (Kirsi), and Stephen (LaTasha); seven grandchildren, Tanisha, Bernard (Kendra), Joel, Samuel, Shaela, Dana and Lauryn; seven great-grandchildren, Latay, Victoria, Elijah, Kendall, King, Kendrick and Khalil; two sisters, Bernice Gillespie (John) and Barbara Rainey (Karl; one brother, Arthur (Sandra); four sister-in-laws, Burnette Hook, Beverly Marshall, Elaine Marshall and Janet Marshall. He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation 9:30 a.m., until Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, February 28 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 2020 Saint Josephs Drive, Largo, MD 20774. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
