SAMUEL WRIGHT, JR.("TOLOU"), age 82 of Temple Hills, MD, made his final transition on Wednesday, April 8, 2020.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Kay F. Wright.  He is survived by his son, Samuel L. Wright; daughters, Louise Wilson (Anita), Leslye Buck (Eric), Cindy and Lolita; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Roy McGee;  two sisters-in-law, Patsy Ward and Denise Pogue (Jimmy); one brother-in-law, James T. Wilson; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.  He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Dilly Allen; grandsons, James and Edward Huff, III; father and mother, James and Hazel McGee; biological father, Samuel Ward; and brothers, Earl Wright (Cora, also deceased), Guss Ward and Joseph McGee.  A monitored walk-through viewing will be held Friday, April 24, 2020 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon at Henry S. Washington & Sons Funeral Home, 4927 Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue, N.E., Washington, DC 20019 followed by a restricted private interment at Harmony Memorial Park. (All guests must wear a mask and stand at least 6 feet apart).
