ROOSEVELT BAXTER, SR.(Age 86)

Born in York County, South Carolina. Passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at his home in Landover, Maryland.  A Memorial Service was held Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Henry S. Washington & Sons Co., Inc. located at 4927 Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue, N.E., Washington, DC 20019.

He leaves to cherish his memories:  his daughter, Patricia B. Taylor (Curtis); two sons, Pastor Roosevelt Baxter, Jr. (Devonna) and Terry L. Baxter (Sterlitta); nine grandchildren; a number of great grandchildren; three sisters, Fannie Hunt, Ida Hope, and Emma Thompson (Carlos); daughter-in-law, Tammy Baxter; sister-in-law, Denita Baxter; Goddaughter, Tracey Lassiter Butler (Anthony); a friend, Sarita Minor (Rodney); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
