NORMA ELISE TROTTER JERNIGAN, of Washington, DC passed away and entered eternal life on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 surrounded by family and friends. Daughter of the late Decatur and Bernice Trotter and sister of the late Avis Trotter Hawkins and Sen. Decatur "Buckie" Trotter. She leaves a legacy to be cherished by her loving daughter Velora Jernigan- Pedrick (Andrew), granddaughter Abie, devoted companion Harry Datcher, and numerous family members and friends. Visitation 10 a.m., until time of service 11 am., On Tuesday, November 24 at Beulah Baptist Church, 5820 Dix Street, NE, Washington, DC 20019. Interment at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Suitland, MD.
