On Saturday, May 2, 2015, peacefully departed this life after a long illness. Son of the late Joseph C. Kirby, Sr. and Dorothy Kirby; brother of the late Gloria Kirby-Copelin. Loving husband to Sheila Patterson-Kirby; devoted father to Michael O., Jr, and Stephen Kirby; stepfather to LaKisha DeVine, Erica Patterson, Tiffany Richardson (Scott) and Jerett Patterson. Also survived by brothers, Joseph C. Kirby (Mirvat), Mark Kirby (Michelle); sister, Angela Kirby-Conway; nieces, Vanessa and Donna Copelin, Erin and Carmen Conway; nephew, Mark Kirby, Jr.; a host of great-nieces and nephews, family and friends.
