She leaves to mourn, children: Conchita M. and Bruce C. Sellers; six grandchildren: Karl A., John D.,IV, Ryan W., and Paul B. Sellers, Alecta M. Sellers- Somerville, and Steven L. Byrd.; seven great-grandchildren: Karl, Jr., Brittany, Michaela, Aajhai, Mason, Trey and Natasha; two great-great grandchildren; two daughters-in-law: Claudia A. and Evelyn P. Sellers; devoted cousins, Madlyn Pratt Fox and Patricia "Duchess" Ward; a devoted lifelong friend, Bernice B. Slaughter (friends before their teen years from First Baptist Church of Deanwood); other cousins, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands John D. Sellers, Jr. and Gehodist Cossey; and a son, John D. Sellers, III.
