Obituary

Madge Felecia Cave, a resident of Washington, DC, Entered into Eternal Rest on Tuesday, September 2, 2021, in Jacksonville, Florida.

Madge was a strong, clever, courageous, intelligent black woman, who would do anything that she possibly could to help someone or to lend a helping hand.  She was a very successful Registered Nurse who was instrumental in assisting her friends and relatives who were down, or just needed a little Tender Loving Care.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, William Gordon, Sr. and Hester Gordon; siblings, William Gordon, Jr., James Gordon and Margaret Bobo; nephews, Stanley Henson and Maurice Jackson. She leaves to cherish her loving memory a devoted family that includes her son, Norman E. Cave; daughter, Joyce Cave-Parker; granddaughter, Arnese Parker-Butler (Matthew); great-granddaughters, Charnese Parker and Ginese Parker; great-grandson-in-law, Malcolm Butler; great great-grandchildren, Journie Rhiles, Javia Rhiles, King Rhiles, Harmoni Butler, Marquise Butler; brother, Wilton Gordon, Sr.; nephew, Wilt Gordon (Pamela); nieces, Veronica Carroll (Tim) and Stacey Gordon; and a host of other relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed.

WALK THRU Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., on Friday, September 17, 2021, at Henry S. Washington & Sons Funeral Home, 4927 Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue N.E., Washington, DC, 20019. Followed by an 11:00 a.m., Graveside Service at National Harmony Memorial Park, 7101 Sheriff Road, Hyattsville, MD 20707.
