Peacefully passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at his home in Washington, D.C. He was preceded in death by his wife, the late Jean A. Holmes. He is survived by his three sons; Joseph Jr., Ronald, and Larry Holmes. Viewing 10 a.m. until time of Service 11 a.m., Friday, October 3, at Grace United Methodist Church, 716 -59th Ave. Fairmount Heights, MD 20743. Interment Harmony Memorial Park.
