John T. Jackson (age 86) passed away on Thursday,  June 18, 2020. He was preceded in death by his son, Gregory Jackson; and two sisters, Geneva Jones and Constance Young. He is survived by his five children: Michaelann Jackson, Keri Jackson, Viola Davenport, Kelly Jackson, and Shelly Jackson Sr.; seven siblings,  Robert "Bobby" Jackson, Shirley Hamilton, Maryann James, Charles Jackson, Mildred Jackson, Louise Jackson, and Francis Jackson;  22 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.  Over the years he has brought joy to our family and several close friends hearts. He will be truly missed. We bless him and hope his journey home is triumphant. 9:45am burial will be held on Friday, July 17, 2020 at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham- Cheltenham, MD.
