On Monday, July 27, 2020 at 10:40am, at the age of 76, Jeanette McDowell was called home to be with the Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Irene Lowery; one son, John  McDowell, Jr.; and three brother's, James, Charlie and Jimmy Lowery. She leaves to cherish her precious memory, her three sons, James McDowell, Brian Porcher (LaWanna), and Marvin Porcher (Letrice); one daughter, Jacqueline McDowell; Partner in Life,  Matthew Porcher; two sisters, Geneva Lowery McCoy (Melvin) and Annie McDowell; one brother, David Lowery; seven granddaughters, Ciara, Tyawna, DaNesha, Jada, Makaila, Lacey, and Brielle; three grandsons, James, Lathan, and Brent; second daughter, Jacquette aka Pammy;  two other granddaughters, Destiny and Taylor; special friend, Mary Jane Williams; two god-daughters, Angel Williams and Delores Battle; and a host of nieces, nephews, brother and sister in laws, other relatives, and friends. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m.  on Tuesday, August 4 at Salvation, Outreach and Deliverance Ministers, 4598 Beech Road, Temple Hills , MD 20748. Interment National Harmony Memorial Park.
