Peacefully on Monday, January 12, 2015, slept away to be with the Lord. He is survived by one son Herbert, Jr. (Leona); one granddaughter; four grandsons; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at The First Baptist Church of Deanwood, 1008 - 45th Street, NE, Washington, DC from 10 am until time of service at 11 am. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
