Preceding her in death are her husband: Haskell Arnold Shackelford, two brothers: Stanley and Alvin Bridges, two sisters: Francena and Gwendolyn Bridges, and her daughter Jandel (Raheemah) Fontaine. She leaves behind one Son-in-Law, Scott (Ihsan) Fontaine, four grandchildren: Muneera Fontaine, Ebraheem (Danielle) Fontaine, Hajure (Munir) Rushdan, and Nargis (Larney) Fontaine. Twelve Grandchildren: Keyami, Naeema, Tahjiani, Qadir, Zayna, Jalil, Naledi, Ilyas, Yusuf, Alim, Sahar, and a Special One on the way.
