Transitioned on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at her residence. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Smalls-White (Peter S.); nine grandchildren: Genetta C. Smalls, Eugene A. Smalls, III, Michael B. Smalls, Jordan M. Smalls, Peter S. White, II, Eugene N. Smalls, Jabaree' J. White, Briana Melanie G. White and Paige Smalls; eleven great-grandchildren; one sister, Hattie B. Baker (Horace); brothers-in-law: Jerry Wilson, David Land, Sr., and Rampersad Lally; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. Visitation Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 206 New York Avenue, N.W., Washington, DC 20001. Interment will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 14, 2019 at Maryland Veterans Cemetery - Cheltenham, 11301 Crain Hwy, Cheltenham, MD 20623. Services by HENRY S. WASHINGTON & SONS.
