CELEBRATION OF LIFE George Ray Langford was born in Leesville, South Carolina on Sunday, April 26, 1942, to the late Emma aka "Momma Emma" and Elextris aka "Daddy Brown" Langford. George began his eternal rest on Friday, December 16, 2022. George Langford had four siblings: Charles Langford, Matthew Langford (Ann), Juanita Lindsay (Johnnie) and Anthony Langford (Lela). He graduated from Twin City High School. George Langford started his work career right out of high school as a bus driver. He relocated to Washington, D.C. and was employed Contee Construction until they closed. After Contee's closing George worked for Hamel Construction Company until he started his own family construction business around 1986. He worked for over thirty years closely with his nephew Aaron until his health would no longer allow him. He met and married Hazel Langford on Saturday, December 30, 1967. This union was blessed with one son, Marc Langford. He was preceded in death by one grandchild; Trevon Hudson-White, Sr. and one great-grandson; Charles Hudson-White. George Langford leaves to cherish his memory; his wife, Hazel; his son, Marc (Tawana); four grandchildren, Teyana Hudson, Marquia Langford, Rachelle Donerson (Darien)and Tori Langford; six great grandchildren, Ryleigh Langford, Trevon Hudson-White Jr., Raelynn Donerson, Amir Hudson-White, Devon Donerson, Naomi Gibson and a host of other relatives and friends.
