FREDERICK LAWRENCE SMITH (Age 97), passed away on Monday, January 4, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carletta Smith and son, Frederick R. Smith. He is survived by four children, Thelma Bryant (Arnold), Kenneth D. Smith, Reginald L. Smith, Sr. (Monica), and Ronald J. Smith (Barbara); 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation,10 a.m. until time of service, 11 a.m., Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Mt. Ephraim Baptist Church, 610 Largo Rd., Upper Marlboro, MD 20774. Interment Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.
