On Monday, May 5, 2025, Eljah Norris passed away at his home. He departed this life with a firm belief in God.  He leaves behind three sons, Wendell, Jeff Sr. and Johnny Norris; One daughter in-law; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden, Md.  A family only interment will take place at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery.
