DONNELL MAURICE CHESTNUT (Age 42) - Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 10, 2021.  He is survived by his mother, Martha L. Geddie; his brothers and sisters: Lonnell Chestnut, Shantell Chestnut, Simone O'Neal (Lester O'Neal), Linda Geddie-Abney (Vincent Abney), Jeffrey Geddie (Tarsha Geddie), Michael Geddie (Toya Geddie), Tonya Hymes (Darrell Hymes), Shirlita Lee (Thomas Lee) and Edwyn Hosea Mack. Donnell was preceded in death by his father, Lester Chestnut, Jr., and one brother, Carl Geddie.  He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.  Donnell also leaves to cherish his memory his two bonus brothers with whom he had a special bond:  Byron Leftwich and Willie Robinson.  Public Visitation Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Limited Funeral Service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Thankful Baptist Church, 1401 Independence Avenue, S.E., Washington, DC 20003.  Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery located at 4111 Pennsylvania Avenue, Suitland, MD 20746.
