Father, Friend, and Mentor, Clarence Burns has departed this life for a heavenly one.

A Memorial Repast will be held to honor the life of Clarence Alan Burns, Sr. on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Salvation, Outreach & Deliverance Ministries, 4598 Beech Rd, Temple Hills, MD 20748.

Clarence Alan Burns, Sr. was born on May 8, 1956, and passed away on March 22, 2024. He attended DC Public Schools, graduating from McKinley Technical High School. Throughout his career, he served as a CDL driver for AMOCO and Giant Food. However, his true passion lay in the sport of Bowling. In life, he shared a union with Robin Arnold, and together they were blessed with two beautiful children. He is preceded in death by his son, Clarence Burns, Jr., and his parents, Henry ("Buddy") and Cecil McDowell Burns. Clarence leaves behind a loving daughter, Belinda Diona Burns; a brother, Kevin Burns; and a multitude of family and friends who will cherish his memory forever. May his soul rest in peace, and his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
