Charles H. Lancaster passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2020 . He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife of 76 years Gloria W. Lancaster; his three children, Gloria Lancaster, Sharon Jones (Aubrey), Marian Johnson (Curtis); five grandchildren, Kimberly Buckmon (Joseph), Craig Bentley (Karen), Cidney McNeil, Delema Johnson and April Cunningham (Brandon); eleven great-grandchildren, Courtney, Logan, Joseph Jr., Charles, Cara,Christopher, Olivia, Temony Jr., Curtis, Harley and Bellamy; one brother, Clarence Lancaster (Juanita); one sister-in-law, Ann Donelson (Calvin); and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will held from 6pm to 8 pm on Thursday, August 13 and from 11:00 am to 12 noon on Friday, August 14 at Henry S. Washington & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 4927 Nannie Helen Burroughs Ave., NE, Washington, DC 20019. Interment Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va.
