Barbara Burdette Tobias, affectionately known as "Bobbie" was born on August 1, 1935 in Washington D. C. to the late Lawrence and Mary Burdette. She passed peacefully from this life the evening of Wednesday, April 12, 2023 after a short illness. Barbara had a successful career advancing through the government which culminated as a Human Resources Manager for Office of Personnel Management. After retirement, she spent her days at her house on the water enjoying all manner of outdoor activities & events. Barbara enjoyed delivering for the "Meals On Wheels" program, playing Sudoku, reading all genres of books and helping out her community in her spare time. Barbara leaves to cherish her loving memory two daughters, Lynn Marie and Diane Marie Tobias.

She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
