Passed away peacefully at her North Brentwood, MD home on Sunday, March 8, 2015. Wife of the late James E. Spriggs, Sr.; and mother of the late Greggory B. Spriggs. Beloved mother of James E. Spriggs, Jr. (Valery), Louise M. Spriggs, and Larry M. Spriggs (Renee). Loving grandmother to five. She is also survived by three sisters, Bettye Queen (Sterling), Beverly Marshall and Burnette Hook; two sisters-in-law, Elaine and Janet Marshall; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation Monday, March 16 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, March 17 from 10 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Jerome's Catholic Church, 5205 - 43rd Ave., Hyattsville, MD 20781. Interment Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery.
